The staff are engaged in the success of their customers and business, the culture of the branch is up-beat, it’s always warm and inviting, nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. KNOW YOUR CUSTOMER AWARD
“Compliance with the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) legislation has been of major importance this year as Bendigo works it’s way towards the Advanced Accreditation for Basel 2. Branches have been asked to check and double check every account opening to ensure we are compliant. This branch had 100% compliance since the checks came into place in January this year. A stand out effort in the region.

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AWARD
“We have so many people who do amazing work in their local communities but there are a few people who put their community needs above their own. We have 2 Community Engagement Awards to present to individuals tonight.
The first one goes to a lady who has been an active advocate of Community Banking not just in her local town but across the whole region. If there is a cause to be championed she is there.
After many years as Chair of her Community Bank company she has recently stepped down however is remaining on the board to ensure she is still involved. She has committed over 10 years to building the success of Mt Evelyn and Montrose branches.
